About Dr. Tom

Dr. Tom's Brief Bio

As a pastoral care volunteer at two local hospitals, Dr. Tom has gained a perspective on making life choices from supporting thousands of patients over the past six years. Before retiring, he taught management at Northeastern University. Some of his relevant teachings include risk management, managing diversity, and organizational behavior.

Dr. Tom has spent his career managing engineering organizations ranging from small to very large. In the later part of his career, he focused on start-up companies and entrepreneurship. 

Dr. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Doctorate of Education.

Based on his experiences, he decided to write his first book about making choices in life.

When not volunteering or writing, he stays in touch with his humility by playing golf.
